Inspired by the colorful furry baby birds in The Angry Bird Movie, here is the crochet pattern of my version — Fur Bird Amigurumi. Anyone who watched The Angry Movie will definitely agree with me that the little offsprings at the end of the movie are melting our hearts away. They are so adorably cute with their big round eye, yet the innocent expression will turn angry with furrowed eyebrows in the next second. Not to mention the yellow little feet, so tiny and making them so bouncy. I was so dying to hug a bunch of them when I saw them at the end of the movie. So, here they are…. I crochet them with various colors of eyelash fur yarn and ami-acy yarn, coupled with felt and colored-iris safety eyes, Craft Passion’s Fur Bird Amigurumi free crochet pattern is here to greet everyone Happy Crochet!
The Fur Bird Amigurumi is crochet by using 1 strand of fur yarn and 1 strand of acrylic yarn, it is then brushed and groomed to create a thicker fur. The white of the eye is made of felt, the edge is later needle felted to create a big round eye.The beak is attached to the body by needle felting too. The feet is crochet using acrylic yarn. The fur bird is about 4.5″ tall.
Love the fur bird amigurumi with long eye lashes? Just cut a piece of fake eye lash into half, trim away some lashes in between, glue them onto the eyes.
The Pink and Cyan Fur Bird, make 2 as a set for boy and girl.
Or, make 3 to become the triplet fur birds, just like the 3 blue angry birds, namely Jay, Jake, and Jim.
